I think that we pay for our TV licences and therefore have the choice about what we watch... but at the end of the day the Cruft's coverage was mainly about flyball etc... it was only the last night when best in match was on that I was really interested in it...

IMO can't see what all the fuss is with the BBC pulling out, they never were intested in the real reason for Crufts - the dogs the coverage said it all. They won't stop Crufts, would be arrogant of them to think they could. Perhaps with BBC, Pedigree and the others that have pulled out, we will now go back to the showing of the dogs and not the money that traders can make from overpriced stock. As far as I was concerned Crufts was fast becoming more about the stands and selling their merchandise than the real reason we all strive to get there - to exhibit our dogs and the prestige of getting to Crufts..

Who needs the BBC , maybe now we can get to the main reason for being at crufts TO SHOW OUR DOGS and not who is going to be on the screen . I feel for the people who cannot attend for they will not be able to see what is going on , but hopefully we might get highlights on another channel . The BBC has shot itself in the foot once more , closely followed by Pedigree Chum , who i notice still sponser shows abroad . , the PDS A has a lot to answer for also , not keeping their noses out of the show world, we all know that certain bfreeds have their problems , so now what has happened the no hopers who have jumped on the band wagon have developed designer dogs , chipugs etc , charging pedigree prices for crossbreds , they still have health problems but who governs them now do they have a club for cross breeds !! , so pedigree and the BBC and the PDSA hope you are pleased with your self you have just set back dog ownership 50 years
